Sherwood Motel

The refrigerator smelled rotten, you could smell immediately upon entering the room,i dare not open it.

The place needs serious repair. The bottom of the doors even on the second floor were almost broken all the way through. The TV barely worked because the cable was lose, the refrigerator door did not close causing the freezer section to have considerable frost making it much smaller. The telephone in the room did not work as well as the ice machine. The bathtub was not clean and was actually broken in three places. The floor in front of the tub sounded and felt like it was going to break through. STAY CLEAR OF THE SHERWOOD MOTEL.

rooms were simple, which was fine for the price

It was convenient for our trip. Some stuff did not work in our room. They don’t want to let you get Coffee at 4:00AM. Which was upsetting since it is near the Beach and people do get up early and go fishing or watch the sunrise. All in all it was a good 👍 place to stay.

Horrible room smells bathroom door hard to close and once got door closed won’t open hole in bath tub walkway and staircase have trash and broken glass everywhere

It is anold motel and just to be udated and renovated, otherthan that the front office staff are very nice and accomodating.

There was a hole in the ceiling, the sheets and blankets were stained, had to brush crumbs off the bed before laying down, the tub had some kind of yellow plaster patching a large hole in it, the room smelled like mold, the lady that checked us in was rude and seemed angry to be bothered, there was only enough toilet paper for one trip to the bathroom. All i can think of at the moment

The location is right in town and easy to get to restaurants and back and forth to Morehead and New Bern.
