Sherwood Motel

It was cleaner than exspected, even clean exterior. We new it was old and we got a smoking room to our surprise it wasn t too smelly

The door had been kicked in at one time and there was still a hole near the knob where daylight could be easily seen. There was sawdust on the floor at the entrance. The one light connected to the entry switch did not work even though it had a good working light bulb. No tissues were provided. No envelope to tip the housekeeping. The tub faucet would not shut off and the continual drip caused a musty smell in the room. The air/heat unit only had two settings. The entrance to the second floor was exposed to the elements. Only redeeming quality was close proximity to USMC Cherry Point base.

I didn’t like anything wouldn’t really recommend this hotel at all.

It has a very 50's vibe with a few modern touches. Housekeeping does a great job

The place is infested with roaches. They were crawling all over my tables and I was smashing them on the walls

It was a nice clean motel at a great price. Close to everything. Lots of places to eat and shop right around the Sherwood. Great staff.

This 1950s style brick two story motel has received a wonderful makeover and modernization. It is really a first class facility. The only archaic system are the telephones which seem to ring randomly. Furniture, paint, bathrooms, windows, doors, locks are all updated. Linens and coverings are all in top notch shape. Great value! Staff is excellent.

The check in and check out process was easy, location and price were convenient. The only thing is the place needs a face lift. You can tell everything is old, but they are working on the updates. Enjoyed our stay regardless.

Stunk bad. Staff was slow. Felt like a piece of meat

Very Acceptable for the price. Felt clean. Could have replaced the mattress pad. No plug in the tub.
