Hotel Villa Sermolli

Very well managed, charming old villa, in great condition, overlooking superb terraced gardens with exotic plants and Tuscan countryside. A dream! Many thanks to Elena, Martin, Elisa, Olga and the whole team, for their warm, fantastic service, which made us feel like home. Our large, clean, functional room, very large bathroom and extra large terrace covered by wisteria was a bonus to the fantastic ambience of the place. We will return!

We had an amazing family trip and enjoyed every minute of our stay here. I would stay again and I will highly recommend this placed to my friends.

Wir hatten einen traumhaften Aufenthalt, welcher sich durch nichts toppen läßt.

Vi är två par som bokade Villa Sermolli efter den fantastiska beskrivningen på Hotels.com, men det var långt ifrån med sanningen överensstämmande. På Hotels.com är hotellet fyrstjärnigt, men i verkligheten endast max tvåstjärnigt. När vi kom till hotellet fanns ingen personal på plats förutom en tjej i receptionen. Hon gjorde så gott hon kunde utifrån de förutsättningarna hon hade. Vid middag på hotellet dag 2 möts vi av en höggradigt berusad manlig servitör. Uruselt! Frukost skulle enligt Hotels.com ingå vilket stod i mailbekräftelsen vi fick. Vid utcheckning påstår ägaren att vi har gjort en bokning UTAN frukost vilket slutade med att vi per par fick betala 72 EURO extra för frukost vilket den inte var värd. LURADE!!!! Han nonchalerade oss totalt. Bo inte här!!

Vi kände oss lurade av ägaren då han krävde oss på betalning för frukost trots att vi bokat och fått bekräftelsemail att frukost ingick i vår grundbokning. Han var dessutom nonchalant. Hotels har skrivit att hotellet har 4 stjärnor, vi tycker det vore mer passande med max 2. En kväll möttes vi av en berusad servitör vilket inte var så trevligt. Vi kan inte rekommendera Villa Sermolli till andra resenärer. Om vi fått pengarna tillbaka hade vi omgående bytt hotell.

We really enjoyed this hotel. The rooms amazing and the views breathtaking! We loved the decor and the staff truly was amazing. They were very accommodating and happy to help. The restaurant was picturesque and the breakfast buffet unique to the local cuisine. Our coffees were made to order and the turn down service a personal touch. Martin and his staff will be remembered! They even packed us a lunch for our early departure. We highly recommend this hotel if you are in Tuscany.

What an amazing surprise! The villa has a wonderful view on top of a Tuscan hill, situated at a medieval town. The garden was giant and full of lush greens such as lemon trees and palm trees. The host and staff are all very friendly. As the car park was a few stairs below the entrance we got picked up in a golf car by the host/owner himself. Every day two meal sets are prepared (you can mix and match as you wish) and of very high quality.

Dans un cadre magnifique nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le personnel était très gentil et accueillant. C'était très agréable et reposant et vraiment une très belle adresse à recommander.

2ème séjour dans cet hôtel. Nous nous étions promis d'y revenir tant il nous avait séduit la première fois. Nous n'avons pas été déçus par cette demeure typiquement italienne d'un autre temps, perchée au sein d'un charmant petit village sur une colline de Toscane. Accueil chaleureux de nos hôtes. Quel plaisir d'aller d'une terrasse à une autre, dominant la Toscane. Repas agréable et de qualité,tout comme le petit déjeuner.

The staff were absolutely amazing. They could not have done more for us. The site was fantastic and the food was so good there was no point in looking for anywhere else to eat in the evening.
