Blackberry Hills Munnar - Nature Resort & Spa

The scenary was lush, the villas are perched in the mountains, overlooking the valley. The dinner at the restaurant was fabulous.

The hotel is a 10 minute tuk tuk ride to town - not a big deal - just means that you tend to do your activities all at once and come back late afternoon before dinner.

Location was special with beautiful views. Yoga area was good at sunrise.

It was a little distant from Munnar.

Location was fantastic with some of the best views we’ve ever seen, across the tea plantations to the distant mountains. Staff were very helpful and the restaurant excellent.

Beautiful location with a stunning view on the tea plantations. The room is spacious and cozy with a comfy bathroom. The restaurant offers good food for lunch and dinner. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The breakfast offer is quite poor if you like a continental choice, just toast with butter and jam. The service should be more organized.

Warm water in de douche lukte niet altijd. De reservesleutel van de kamer was kwijt dus ze konden enkel de kamer kuisen wanneer we zelf aanwezig waren.

Hoch oben mit wahnsinnig toller Aussicht, vielen schönen exotischen Vögeln , kleinem infinity pool und Yoga am Morgen. Was will man mehr ?

Im Zimmer hab es weder Kleiderhaken noch genügend Abstellfläche . Für den Preis hätten wir es etwas „luxuriöser“ erwartet.Aber dafür gab s Ja auch denn Pool.

המיקום של המלון הוא קסום, מעל העמק צופה על שדות התה המרהיבים של מונאר ועל היער המשתרע על ההר. ניתן לרדת מהמלון דרך היער אל שדות התה ולעשות טיולים בסביבה, באופן עצמאי או עם ההדרכה שהמלון מספק כל יום ב-9:30. החדרים עצמם נוחים ונקיים וכל מה שתבקשו בטלפון מהקבלה - יגיע תוך דקות מספר. הצוות כולו, החל מפקידי הקבלה, דרך המסעדה, המנקים, הנהגים - מדהים. תמיד עם חיוך ושירותיות נפלאה. המסעדה מקסימה עם חלונות גדולים לנוף. האוכל והשרות מצויינים. שהינו במלון 4 לילות ונהננו מכל רגע.

הווי-פיי לא משהו, אל תבנו עליו יותר מדי. הבריכה שיושבת על הנוף לא היתה תמיד מאד נקייה.

The hotel has a lovely location and nestled in greenery all around. The Restaurant is quite nice and the staff there are very warm. In Particular, I would like to appreciate Ankita who was singlehandedly managing everything and that too with a smile. She along with Akshay in the reception are the staff I really appreciated in the property.

The hotel's facilities are short on many fronts. Firstly there is lack of hot water because they say their heating is solar powered. We had to heat up water in a kettle a few times for bathing. It's a huge issue and the staff dont seem to have any empathy on this front. The front desk has a manager who we met, his name was Prindo. He made it sound as if the hotel is doing us a favour by providing us lukewarm water. The other issue is that the hotel has only one buggy and it mostly turns up late because they focus mainly on those guests who are checking out. One of the days, it was raining heavily, and a tree fell in front of our room which blocked access to the restaurant. No one bothered to clear it. I had to have it cleared myself for my family to access the restaurant.

We had an amazing time at the BlackBerry Hills hotel in Munnar. Our room had jaw-dropping views of the Munnar plantations from our private balcony and every little detail was well prepared. Our room came with a jacuzzi and the mood was private, romantic and inspiring. The food at the restaurant was delicious and we had a great time discovering Kerala cuisine each day. We booked a trek throughout the Munnar plantations and hill tops that was truly beautiful. I highly recommend this location for couples wanting a quiet and romantic getaway.
