Novotel Darwin Airport

Location is only a 5 min walk from the airport and the staff were all lovely

The pool area closes at 7pm. The pool temperature was much too cold. The"spa" was also too cold. Dozens of unsupervised children breaking rules in the spa such as dropping glassware into the water and doing flips in the spa

Room ideal. Great breakfast range.

Checking out. Many people queued up while the single hotel attendant tended to a customer. The problem is that the attendant is facing in one direction and not turning around enough to see the growing number of people queued up.

It was amazing value for money and brilliant spread.

No fault could be found.

Great spot for a stop over. Pool is fabulous as is the meals, waiting staff and atmosphere at the Pool House Restaurant.

As always reception staff assume you have stayed before, so they forget to tell you important details. For example Welcome drinks are on offer if you are a member of Accor and check your app ! and they don't emphasize that there is one central reception area for the Novotel, Ibis and Mercure. We stayed at the Novotel, and did not know the reception desk in that building is not manned. We waited patiently for assistance, and tried to get the attention of the Executive adjacent to the reception area. Luckily a very helpful hotel services member walking past us, told us to head back to central reception. In complete contrast, the executive adjacent this reception area, rather rudely closed her door and did not offer any assistance. She may need some retraining in customer service.
