Beautiful property, delicious food and attentive staff. Highly recommend!

This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting run by an exceptional team. The location is perfect for exploring and for simply relaxing - this is a particularly beautiful corner of Sicily. The team are wonderful - from the moment of first welcome we were warmly taken care of - they are full of advice and the front of house really care about the hotel and you. The restaurant is lovely and a special thanks to Giuseppe who made our trip truly memorable. I hope we can return.

Stunning setting, very convenient location to explore the area and excellent service. We loved the decor, breakfast was a treat, aperitivo by the pool made special by some interesting wine recommendations and the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. If you are planning to visit the area, this is a great place to stay at. We highly recommend it and hope to be back soon!

Stayed with my wife and 14 year-old daughter for four nights. The setting, the design, and the food was amazing in every regard. I would strongly recommend the cooking class (Angelo is fantastic) along with the wine tour and tasting. There are a few nearby (less than 30 minutes) towns worth exploring too (Sciacca has plenty to offer) but simply relaxing at the hotel was great. The staff (all supermodels!) were great in assisting with anything from trip planning, wine recommendations, etc. A great deal of care was put into the design and operations of the hotel and restaurant and it shows.

Set among gently rolling green hills with views of vineyards and olive groves, La Foresteria Planeta resort is the ultimate in peace and serenity. While our schedule did not permit time for the many amenities offered, we did enjoy a wine tasting among the ruins at Planeta’s Ulmo winery. The entire staff was constantly at the ready to offer the best in customer service. We thoroughly enjoyed the extensive breakfast buffet as well as the chef’s creative, original and oh-so delicious dinner menu offerings.

We had an amazing lunch, in the midst of beautiful grounds, with a lovely view of the sea beyond and the vineyards in between. We found the staff to be very attentive and caring. Afterward, we strolled around the herb gardens, which we enjoyed very much. We wish we could have stayed here.

I had the luxury of spending 5 weeks in Sicily. My finals days were spent at the planeta menfi. I spoke with a member of their team to plan a great last weekend, I was very excited about the gorgeous beach that planeta guests could use. I confirmed with the planeta staff who promised me that the beach club was open until sept 30. I arrived on the 26th for my extravagant weekend with wine dinner pairing to find out they closed the beach club early, I felt betrayed by this. The entire vibe was gone.

A truly amazing hotel in a peaceful country location not far from the beach. Has a sweet beach club but the loungers are not on the actual beach which is a shame, and the food menu there is very limited. The food at the hotel in both the pool bar and restaurant is amazing. Great quality and a good selection. There are specials everyday which is good as the place is quite remote so eating at the hotel in the evening is easier. The infinity pool is stunning as are the sunsets. Obviously the Planeta wines are a particular highlight and the staff are very knowledgeable. Breakfast is a buffet but because of covid they require you to select from a piece of paper rather than help yourself which was slightly annoying but I guess is the world we live in. Also annoying to have to pay extra for cooked items such as eggs. Overall I highly recommend

Amazing location surrounded by vineyards, wonderful pool and nice rooms with their own outdoor spaces. Restaurant and service was really good. Wish I had booked to stay more than one night!
