Sandman Signature Langley Hotel

Great room. Accommodated my dogs as well. The first room had a minor ant problem. We let the Front desk know and they immediately gave us a new room. They checked with us that the next room was good. The staff and service here are always friendly and quick to help.

We were upgraded to a suit which was very comfortable. We were not prepared to use the kitchen or laundry, but the beds and sitting furniture was very comfy.

Safe, clean, and the most comfortable bed!

The hotel was excellent, very comfortable. The only thing I would suggest is the bathroom needs a deeper clean, ie baseboards etc.

I did not like the checking. one of the things that check in person said to me right off the bat was no running in the halls. I had no kids with me and I am 61 years old. The other thing is that the check in person coded the card incorrectly - example: the number on my card cover looked like 201. I went to that room and it would not open. I though maybe it was suppose to be 2 instead of 1, so I tried 202. It opened the room but someone was already in that room. I had to drag my bags all the way back down stairs to get keys re-coded. was not impressed. Other than that, stay was fine.

We arrived at hotel early evening and quickly checked in. We had heard good things about this hotel from friends that had stayed here a few years ago. Unfortunately the hotel rooms are showing their age. I didn't want to complain as we had two rooms and my travel partner had paid for our two night stay. The room i stayed in reeked of cigarette smoke. These are non smoking rooms! At first I thought it was coming from outside, but it was definitely an old smell in the room. The tiles in shower showed mold which looked as though they'd tried to cover with black grout. The towels were paper thin and one had a hole. The carpet had rolls in it, possible from furniture that had been moved or from cleaning. This could be a safety issue. The base of some of the furniture showed wear in carpet or dirt I didnt want to look too closely. Thank goodness we didnt have to be in our rooms too much.
