Parkwood Lodge

Quiet location and great access to the area sights and attractions. No traffic noise. View out of the large window was a lovely view of a grassy lawn area with woods in the background. Very plain decor but clean and well kept for the most part. Felt like a safe location.

Major issue was that the "bathroom" sink, mirror etc. was in the bedroom area and inconvenient for two people to get ready in the morning and evening. The shower and toilet were separate of course. Room was small (crowded) with the 2 Queen bed option that we chose. There were 2 desk chairs and a small table but the only real seating options were to sit on the beds.

Beautiful and meticulously cared for facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. Spotless rooms. Quite, cozy and restful. Would stay there again

The price was a little higher than we were accustomed to. Still a beautiful setting and atmosphere

Was there twice no problems . Being in different buildings helps with not hearing others keeping you up at night

Great location to explore Door County, fun activities for the family at the lodge, and the staff were very helpful and nice.

Great location and setting, very small room with poor AC. Excellent support staff. We wanted a kitchenette so we could do breakfast in the room. Technically yes this has a kitchenette, but honestly I have never seem something so tiny and crammed. You can literally open the fridge while lying in bed. :) I really thought this room would have a little extra space due to the kitchenette, but it does NOT. Also, a huge downside: there is no sink in the bathroom. You have to leave the bathroom and come around to the kitchen side to wash your hands. Yuk. The other problem we encountered is that the AC does not remove humidity, at all. It was so damp in our room that we thought the sheets were wet from washing. Everything was super clammy. The staff were so nice in trying to help, and even got us a dehumidifier, but it was pretty miserable if the dehumidifier wasn't running full blast 24/7. All that said, you cannot beat the location if you want to spend time in Peninisula State Park. And, the pickleball courts are a great addition.

Always love coming to Parkwood Lodge. We brought our daughter and grandson this trip and we all had a great time!! The game room- pool- hot tub- firepit- so fun!!

The staff were friendly and there was so much for our daughter to do, play tennis, basketball, pickleball, have a fire in the fire pit, arcade, and swim in the pool!

The beds could use updating! They were very warm and the pillows were due for a change out as well.

Rooms are clean. Quiet area with many thing to offer you

Bathroom is small - not mich room to move around in. They need to remodel the bathroom to include the sink.
