"Decent accommodations"

The pool and wi-fi made for nice benefits. The grounds of hotel itself were very pleasant and pretty.

"Ok for a lodge!"

6.0

First, the location of the hotel its not satisfying, the road was terrible and the neighborhood was noisy with a church nearby where they were praying for hours. Our first day was not that great. Second, the rooms are okay but it was suffocating for oxygen to go around, they have two windows which are ok but one part of the window has a net to keep away the mosquitoes but not enough to carry enough oxygen in the room. The food was perfect and the staff were great so I cant say anything further for my stay in there.

"Comfort as a "get away""

6.0

A very pleasant visit, but so much more can be done at little or no extra cost to the resort. Beds are not for the tall ... and crispy bacon in the morning is always a winner. Proper pork sausage with breakfast also a winner. Staff are pleasant but could be real "champs" with some training to show them the subtlety of "service" in generating "wow", and the enormous value of "smiles". Gotta be bold and that alone would get you so easily ahead of your competitors in the town! See you next time ...

"Good Value in Arusha"

8.0

L'Oasis offers good value cabin style rooms however electricity supply is not great with frequent power cuts. The surrounding area has a couple of noisy late night neighbours, being a bible group that sings hymns till 10:30/11:00 pm one night and a nightclub that keeps similar hours on a different night. So two out of four of my stay were disturbed. On the plus side, clean, good food and "Henry" the crested crane wanders the grounds.

"Adventure in Arusha"

6.0

The un-maintained, dirt road that leads from the main street to the hotel is somewhat frightening. You pass through an area that most from the US would call poverty stricken. After dodging pedestrians, motor cycles, cars, dogs and chickens you arrive at a walled compound with "iron gates". A honk of the horn and the security guard opens the gate. You arrive at a true oasis in the midst of all this poverty. The rooms or bungalows have the appearance of Masai huts with a thatch roof. Two of the bungalows are elevated on stilts. We changed rooms twice. The first room with quite noisy from the adjacent neighborhood. The second had no hot water and the toilet didn't work right. The third room was ok. The staff were most accommodating and helpful. My daughter and I enjoyed the ambiance and rooms. My wife--not so much. I would return to this hotel. My wife wouldn't.

"Lovely little spot - Absolutely wonderful staff!"

10.0

Was here for a couple of nights and had the most lovely stay. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I felt most welcome from the moment i checked in. The lodge is a little of the beaten track but this is why I chose it. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings and lovely little bungalows to come home to at night. Would definitely stay there again.

"Best service in Tanzania"

10.0

The staff at L'oasis are extremely helpful, kind and very nice. You could not ask for nicer people. We are so grateful for all your assitance. And if we ever come back to Arusha, or if we know someone who is going, we will highly recommend this nice little oasis. Heidi and Talia, Denmark

"L'Oasis Lodge - an Oasis in Arusha"

10.0

We stayed here after a 10 day break in Dar Es Salaam and Zanzibar, and after a 13 hour bus ride, this place was indeed an Oasis from the moment we arrived. The staff are great, helped us arrange a short safari tailored to our individual wishes and helped us book our tickets back to Dar when we returned L'Oasis is clean, comfortable, great food and very relaxing surroundings with a pool, a lovely grey crested crane (Henry) walking around the site. It can be tricky to find, as its down a very long road off the main road, but we took a taxi from the bus station which got us there in no time Breakfast is good, eggs to order, fruit and toast - all the food we had there was great, we went back for an additional night we liked it so much after our safari

"L'Oasis Hotel in Arusha, Tanzania"

8.0

The road to the hotel is bit dodgy and hard to find as there are no direction signs. Kind of isolated from the town. Once you arrive is very quite and the huts are nice. It has a small pool a bar area and a restaurant. All in all a very relaxing place but room prices are bit over-rated.
