Issimo Suites Boutique Hotel & Spa - Adults Only

The view is absolutely stunning, the staff was very nice.

Rather pricy. No separate toilet in the room, no amenities (shower gel).

All the staff at the hotel were friendly, chatty and always smiling. The breakfast was delicious and amazing views from the restaurant and room balcony. However, the hotel is very outdated especially the bedrooms. Old, tired furnishing and old fashioned decor. Didn’t feel very clean because of all the stone interior. Many things in the room didn’t work like the lamp and the balcony door lock. Very noisy at night and in the morning due to rooms being next to the restaurant. Restaurant was expensive and no atmosphere. Needs an update.

The view was incredible . We were above the forest canopy so saw birds that can be difficult to spot like Toucans and Scarlett Mccaws regularily.

I would have liked to have been a bit closer (walk) to the town . We had a car so it was fine but it would have been nice to be walking distance .

The property was great and in a great location. Views over the ocean and forest were spectacular. Also the staff were amazingly nice and friendly.

The showers were terrible. Water pressure was pathetic (as were the shower heads) and the temperature changed at will. Music in the lobby/restaurant/pool area was amateur. Being played via YouTube on a computer there would often be ads playing while trying to relax - this is poor for an expensive hotel. Also the tour to Manuel Antonio they booked for us was quite bad, the guide wasn’t good and they charged us more than was quoted.

Issimo Suites was the perfect getaway for my boyfriend and I. The resort was spotless, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their friendliness and attention to detail were unmatched by anywhere else we have been. We were greeted with champagne as we arrived and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast every morning. The lush greenery and ocean vista views from the resort were breathtaking and tranquil. Watching the playful monkeys from our balcony added a unique charm to our stay. The hotel made everything seamless by booking an animal guide for our visit to Manuel Antonio National Park, which greatly enriched our experience. The guide’s knowledge made it easy to spot wildlife we might have missed on our own. This resort is ideal for couples seeking a romantic and relaxing trip. We can’t wait to return and highly recommend Issimo for its incredible service, stunning location, and unforgettable ambiance!

We loved our stay there . Very clean, very quiet, gorgeous view from our room/balcony and the dining area wonderful staff; we enjoyed the jacuzzi on the balcony in the evening in the middle of the rain forest. Several monkeys visited our balcony in the morning, and I took some great videos of them. I also saw them jump from tree to tree right outside our room. Exhilarating! Wish we could have stayed longer; can’t say anything about dinner as we arrived too late for us to eat, although the restaurant was still open. Great place! Warmly recommend.

This was a very nice property. We really enjoyed the beautiful view from our room and also from the common areas of the property. We had our little monkey friends come by for visits right on our balcony. So cute. We would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a nice, quiet and relaxing stay.
