Twin Peaks Lakeside Inn

I checked in booked a lake view room - ended up in a 3 bedroom apartment.

The room had spider webs above the entrance door. I appreciate the upgrade but would have preferred the lake view

Poor Kitchen utensils. No cutting knife available. Had to change dirty kettle. Didn't request but got a disabled bathroom which had an extremely slippery floor when wet. No avoiding getting it wet as it was open to the shower.

The facilities. Was told there was no spa but to our surprise there was a big jacuzzi in the bathroom 😍😍. Very clean, lots of space, tv and remote with a beautiful view of lake taupo. Laundry is also free of charge too!!! Beautiful customer service

There was nothing to not like. Very good value for money I must say!

Perfect location on the lake & near plenty of eating places

Lovely helpful staff. Room was very clean.

For a room that could sleep up to 4, there was only 1 bedside table which was incredibly low. No clock and no bedside lamps. There was also nowhere to put your toiletries in the bathroom. Not even a shelf in the shower which meant everything was stored on the kitchenette bench.
