On arrival the staff was friendly. The Hotel was a beautiful example of an old English establisment. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The location was very central and options for shopping and dining out was on our doorstep, but still quiet at night. Breakfast was lovely.

We had a great one-night stay at the Best Western Red Lion in Salisbury. The location is excellent—within easy walking distance of everything in the city, which made exploring really convenient. The room was comfortable and spacious, with tea and coffee facilities and a well-equipped bathroom. It had everything we needed for a short stay. One tip for future guests: it’s worth booking a parking space on-site in advance, as spaces are limited, although there are paid car parks nearby if needed. Overall, a very pleasant stay and we would definitely recommend it.

The 3pm check-in (while quite common) is a little hard to get used to when you're used to the 2pm. That hour when travelling all day can be a killer to wait.

Lage ist perfekt, sehr Nahe im Zentrum, man bekommt einen der wenigen Inhouse Parkplätze gegen Gebühr oder kann gleich nebenan parken. Frühstück war umfangreich und besser als in den meisten englischen Hotels dieser Kategorie

The location was brilliant. The hotel was really clean and lovely. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was nice.

Car parking spaces were a bit hard to get in and out of.

The breakfast buffet was great with a large selection of hot and cold items. It was also helpful that service started at 7:00 am so you could get an early start to the day. The location was perfect for exploring the city center. The front desk clerk who was on duty during my stay was very helpful and assisted me with booking transportation back from a Sunset Inner Circle Tour of Stonehenge. Luggage storage available.

You had to run the hot water quite a while to get it hot enough but that is most likely due to the age of the building and the source being a long way from the room.
