Staff were excellent and very polite

Unfortunately they ran out of roast dinners quite early and due to gas faults there was little to no hot breakfast

"Great stay"

We stayed here for 3 nights over the weekend. We got a very friendly welcome and shown to the room and the breakfast area. The room was spacious and clean with roof lights. It was well ventilated and had aircon We had breakfast every morning and the lady taking room numbers was very friendly and welcoming. We were even allowed our dog top join us for breakfast, the whole hotel was very dog friendly. Great location on a few minutes walk to the river themes, and a wonderful walk along the path into oxford. We walked to the Magdalen arms and la smorfia to have dinner on two nights. The food and service was, very good at both. (La smorfia did not look great from outside but had a great put door garden to eat our meal) both of them were dog friendly We will definaltey be revisiting, next time in oxford
