Location was great for eating out, closeness to beach and shopping. However the actual accommodation was a bit old, tired with broken or not working fittings (shower screen, drapes and badly worn furnishings inside & out). Staff were good.

I booked an apartment but it was a tiny room. Several things were broken. The access at night was dangerously dark, no lighting. I asked for 1 hr early check in and it was approved by email at 4 am the day before I left! I emailed the manager who subsequently blocked me!!

Curtain rod bent, bathroom basin leaked into cupboards soaking the toilet paper, shower screen was rusty and off the hinges which made it unable to close, no exhaust fan in the bathroom so the bathroom was very wet and foggy after each shower, the bathroom window had no screen so unable to keep it open and the sofa bed was dirty, needing a vacuum prior to sleeping on it and crumbs under the couch. The couch was clearly not moved for a long time.

Airconditioning was not working. Dishwasher was full of water -? Drain blocked.
The location was the only good thing for our stay. The facility is old and has only been updated in the furnishings. I could urinate a stronger flow than their shower and it took ages to regulate the heat of the water to a suitable temp. Very hard to converse with the staff who were of foreign nationalities to Australia.

Dusty in the room, bathroom door was very old and could open up to go shower. Bathroom needs a new shower door.

very noisy , rubbish trucks every morning, Bands compete at local bars until 10'00 thursday - Monday extremely loud, right outside.A lot of verbal yelling from homeless. Unit adequate but dated, time for furniture upgrade. Unit could do with a deep clean.
NZLocation is great as close to everything.
Sofa’s a bit tired and saggy, and probably due for replacement.
