"Good location but a bit lacking"

Comfortable beds but no free waters or help with local restaurants. Had trouble with keys but staff helped. Staff was able to find ada room. Friendly staff but we missed breakfast as the time change messed us up and breakfast was 3 hours instead of the 4 at other Hamptoms.

What we didn't like was that they doubled their rate because there was a wrestling tournament in town. Every hotel in town did the same. Although we understand the economic law of supply and demand, that is an unreasonable burden for no better service.

The facility was kind of clean. When walking in our room the smell was terrible. I am not certain if it was just an old smell or from their cleaning solutions. It appeared they were full so we didn’t bother asking to change rooms. It would have been nice if they had seating out front but they only had a picnic table in the back for smokers so we sat in our car a lot. Walking into the elevator to a very dirty floor and walls smeared with streaks of something was disconcerting. When inspecting the beds I discovered blood stains on the sheets so I called to have the sheets changed. However they said they didn’t have housekeepers until the morning but I could come get sheets and change them myself. We would have checked out but we were with a larger party and we were past the time we could get our money back. It was not what I would expect for a Hilton hotel and price. Very disappointed!
