The breakfast bags were charming. The kids loved them - the tiny jars were very sweet. The location was excellent and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Roman helped us with the bags to the lift, the check in was seamless and the restaurant and sought setting tips were incredibly helpful and given in perfect English. We felt very welcome and the rooms were generous and immaculate. We had two rooms and had difficulty with the door lock in our second room (a bit stiff) and the staff were really helpful - even offering a manual key. I would recommend to anyone the Opera Relais de Charme. Friendly, smart and romantic if you want, plus very good for families. Maybe if elderly guests would struggle with the stairs to the first floor - there’s a flight of approx 10 steps up to the lift - but honestly, I can’t think of anything else and the staff were super helpful with luggage so it’s a tiny thing. I racking my brains to think of any way they could improve and can’t come up with anything sensible. It was a perfect end to our week in Lake Garda. There is no parking- because it’s in the heart of the Old town but there is a spot where you can drop off bags 50m up the road and take them in, then go to park in a nearby car park. The hotel registered our vehicle for ZTL - both when arriving and leaving. I checked in with the kids while my partner parked the car. The hotel also offer a valet service but we didn’t use that. Rooms come with a fridge and simple set of crockery and cutlery so you can buy some essentials and enjoy them on the balcony or in the room in the A/C during the hottest part of the day.

I struggle to think of anything except the lift doesn’t go quite to the ground floor - but the hotel team helped with luggage so it was fine
