Sehr nettes Personal, der Chef hat uns in Vorderriß selbst abgeholt, Essen und Frühstück sehr lecker

Also bei einer Nacht, ist mir nichts negatives aufgefallen

Das Hotel war eine Station auf unserer München-Venedig Tour. Als Ausgangspunkt zum Aufstieg zum Karwendelhaus perfekt! Das Abendessen auf der Terrasse mit Blick aufs Karwendel fantastisch. Die Gastfreundschaft prima. Für eine Nacht auf dem Trail war der Preis zwar hoch, aber die Entbehrungen die einen auf den nächsten Etappen erwarten waren in der Rückschau den Preis wert. Wer also auch auf der Tour ist lieber die Zähne zusammenbeissen und bis Hinterriss weiterlaufen. Ist flach und hilft!

Decent breakfast buffet. Would be nice to have hafer (oak) milk alternative as this is common in most hotels.

Although the sauana was nice and you had to pay for day use , the Infrared sauna was not open yet, although the website advertised it as if it were open. This is one of the primary reasons we booked it. The terrace to cool down after being in the sauana should be restricted from smoking,as it was digusting to leave the sauna and go outside to breathe fresh mountain air only to choke on peoples cigarette smoke. This was quite disgusting and a turn off. Nice cross country skiing, snow shoeing area, but we will not return to this hotel.
