Samui Resotel Beach Resort

The resort is near many restaurants when you walk on the main street. The breakfast was a simple western breakfast. I only realised that chaweng beach water is very murky and cannot snorkel at all, maybe it is because it has just passed monsoon when i went there. Overall it is good and not so noisy as it is away from the noisy area of chaweng which is central festival area while riding on a tuk tuk will get you there with a cheap fare. The pool linked room is a disappointment as the water is only 1.5 m and the width of the swimming pool was so small i cant even swim breatstroke luckily they have a bigger main pool nearby. The staff are friendly and helpful too.

Very nice room, we were there during flash flooding so the beach was disgusting and you could not take advantage of beachieving access as it was full of rubbish. Hotel was nice Food was nice Location was ok

Had problems with hot water.....shower water never got hot.

The view was not what we were expecting, room was clean but towels were not good enough. Beds on the beach not clean enough. However it was welcoming and nice beach although crowded. The room looked at the sea but noisy because of the street right back at your door and then the water which was pumped to the pool. Instead of listening to the sea we heard water jetted into the pool. Breakfast was moderate but sufficient.

The resort was spectacular! At the far end of chaweng beach where it is away from the all the noise, but still close enough to visit alot of fantastic bars and restaurants. The beach side was private and quiet, making it perfect for a relaxing couples getaway. The ocean view villa was more amazing than I expected. The staff were friendly and welcoming, happy to help out when ever requested. The room itself was very clean, spacious and the bathroom was luxurious. The pool overlooking the ocean was the best part, very private and very easy to access the beach. The breakfasts where sensational! Freshly cooked eggs to your choosing and lots of other dishes to indulge in. Every room/villa in the resort has a private or shared pool! 100% worth it, will not disappoint, we will return again!

Had the pool villa in front of the beach. Really friendly staff. Nice walk on the beach close to Bars and restaurants about 10 min walk so no noise from night bars but easy access.

I wanted to spend weekend on Samui while on a business trip to Bangkok. The description and the rate at this hotel appeared to be reasonable, so I've booked a Superior Sea View room. Fortunately, a friend of mine arrived there few days earlier and realized that while the balconies face the ocean, the room doors lead to an open hallway overlooking the noisy street that goes along the beach. In addition to loud motorbike traffic there are also slowly moving vans with loudspeakers broadcasting commercials all night. So upon arrival I have upgraded my room to a garden villa facing a small pool. It was very nice and comfortable, but in need of facelift, just like the rest of the hotel. It would have been a solid 4-star, if not its condition. If I go to Samui next time, I will probably chose another hotel in a better condition.
