Apollonion Asterias Resort and Spa

My wife and I stayed for a week at the end of July in a "deluxe double room". We had a lovely time on Kefalonia and would return to this hotel again, however be aware that it is not a 5 star hotel by the usual western standards but a 4 star. That said I doubt you could find a better hotel on the Pali peninsula.

We were looking for a relaxing hotel which also had facilities for a young child (3-yrs old). The facilities for children were quite basic but well constructed and in good condition. The staff were wonderful, very friendly and would go out of their way to ensure our child was happy. The pool area was clean and it never felt busy even though we knew the hotel to be full during our stay. Food was good quality and there was plenty with lots of options at each meal. During our 2 weeks the menu was repeated but this did not detract from our stay.
