Authentiek hotel, uitstekende gastvrouw

Kamer was wel iets te warm

Their kindness, sadly my wife took ill (nothing to do with hotel) and had to be hospitalized so we did not in truth experience the hotel as we should have. On the positive side it means we shall have to visit again.

The property was well located with good car parking. It was interesting. Very good breakfast.

Getting a little tired. Room cold as heating did not work too well. Lack of attention to detail. For example, heating and lighting controls need updating. Some light bulbs need replacing. Curtains off track at end. Bedding seemed a bit old. On the Friday night we were the only guests and no staff after 3pm so we had check out early. Only offered breakfast in room but room not equipped to handle this. Nowhere to sit to eat the meal. Room dark. We had to check out the day before. We were only people in the building!

Whilst there is a lift to the 1st floor, the stairs are incredibly shallow and curved making them quite dangerous. Whilst they do accept pets when we got there we were charged €40 extra for the dog for 1 night.

Beautiful hotel. Staff was very nice and helpful. Very easy walk to town center. I would stay again.
