"Lovely old hotel in excellent location with very friendly staff."

An unusual property dating from 1700, beautifully maintained. Everything is incredibly old but in very good condition.

No shower and impractical bathroom with limited surface area for your bits and pieces. That said it was immaculate and authentic.

"It ticked all the boxes"

The owner was enchanting and made us feel very welcome. It was in walking distance of some very good restaurants. We mustn’t forget the excellent dinner that we had at the hotel restaurant Pegasus. All in all a great experience.

"Excellent hotel with character rooms. Perfect starting point to explore the vicinity of Poperinge."

The welcome was great. We enjoyed an upgrade to a very spacious room with a large bathroom. The continental breakfast was excellent. Parking is easy on the premises or on a public parking space right next to the hotel.

The TV set was a little small for the room.

Hotel Recour was without a doubt the best place we stayed the entire time we were in Europe. The staff were beyond helpful and friendly, the prices were very reasonable, breakfast was a wonderful spread and the location cannot be beat. And that's not even mentioning the absolutely beautiful room with a large bath that was very welcome after the trek out to Poperinge!
