Spean Bridge Hotel

Basic but fine for the price. Lovely receptionist and bar man. Enjoyed chatting with the locals and the room was clean.

I was traveling for business, solo. I bought on price so OK. The annex I was in had no lock on the external door so open via the untended car park to the street.

Would not stay again. We were put in one of the duplexes out back. The unit was not level, no breeze and no AC. Very loud, if anyone walks by and talks at all. Overall condition is shoddy. Felt like I was sleeping downhill all night and the mattress was a 4 inch this spring type with no cushion. Very rough. We stayed due to being the only place with rooms in town. We now know why. I would drive an hour to get a different hotel. Too that off with paying a premium and no breakfast included. Rough night for a bunch of money.

Very run down,dillapitared structures. staff was great and food was good.

We have stayed in a twin room in the main building. The whole place hasn’t been touched since the 80’s. Not really comfortable. Granted, we have booked it for one night very last minute during our roadtrip around Scotland as a cheapest option in the area under the imptrssion, we can’t do better for £60 per night! We have found twin rooms for £35-40 a night in a hostel around Loch Ness. Room is all new, refurbished clean and with ensuite shower. So considering we have paid double for this room with less comfort, no wifi in the room and further away from tourist attractions - I do not recommend.

Stayed overnight in this friendly hotel with a comfortable-sized rooms. Unfortunately, the kitchen was already closed when we arrived at 9 pm, and so was also the only grocery shop in the village. Luckily, the room was furnished with a tea kettle, tea bags etc, so we didn't starve before going to bed. Spean Bridge Woollen Mill store next to the hotel was a pleasant surprise.

Great Commando Room. Nice location. Good budget hotel.

This is an old hotel, unusual and characterful but clean and comfortable. We were met with a very warm welcome and given a room in the main building. This might be a problem for some as it is next to a very busy road and as it was warm we needed the windows open so there was traffic noise. Bar was ok, food was good, breakfast was good!

Friendly staff ,clean rooms ,good food .outside could do with a tidy and clean once inside hotel it’s lovely
