Duffin Cove Oceanfront Lodging

PRO: Great view, short walk to town, modern decor, good bed, good shower. CONS: No facilities or services, small deep gravel parking lot, long breezeway catwalks and outside staircases, small rooms, sticky doors, no desk or table, no microwave, no space around bath sink for toileteries, paper thin walls and ceilings, no A/C but next to sea, so not really needed, barrels for night tables, designed for looks rather than practicality. Beware of swag lamps next to bed. Not for seniors or persons with mobility issues. More for the younger back packing crowd. Too rustic for our taste. Would never stay there again.

Stayed two days at the North Cabin right at the water. Very clean amenity and friendly staff. Great location at tip of the village. A piece of my heart remained there

Beautiful property with beautiful views. Walking distance to everything in town. Unfortunately the power went out the morning we were leaving as a bird flew into the power pole so no shower in the morning but that is not the properties fault.

This property is absolutely amazing ! Beautiful ocean view from your window, amazing staff, very clean rooms with great amenities . Close to everything in walking distance. Delicious restaurants nearby. Cant wait to stay again

Overall, a great experience. Not having electricity the first night (11:30pm-5:30am), though, was challenging for my elderly parent who relies on a CPAP machine for sleep. Nothing was offered for the inconvenience, which was disappointing. A discounted night would have been appreciated.

Very smart hotel with stunning views of the Pacific! Check-in was very easy and a parking space was assigned as part of the room. Really enjoyed our stay and our time looking out from the balcony of our room despite the rain!

We enjoyed 2 nights at Duffin Cove during our Canada road trip. Fantastic location. Our room had a balcony with fantastic views. Very comfortable room - lovely bed, gorgeous bathroom, all spotlessly clean. Friendly, helpful staff. A bit disappointed that the hotel has no facilities - no bar, restaurant, breakfast & room does not have any amenities (except coffee machine & a small fridge). Having said that theres plenty of dining options, coffee shops & supermarket in Tofino - all in easy walking distance - & the town itself is definitely recommended. Overall, an enjoyable & memorable experience.

Positives: - Fantastic view from balcony - Comfortable bed - Free on-site parking - Friendly staff - Steps from downtown Tofino - Nespresso coffee machine with free extra capsules available from front desk Negatives: - Small room and bathroom - Pricey for small room and older property with limited amenities - Difficult to bring luggage to the room because of gravel driveway and multiple staircases

The room i stayed in had the best view of the water i have ever seen. I left the curtains open to enjoy every minute of it, even as i went to bed. It was clean and comfortable. I wish it had a microwave, but not everyone is vegan like me.
