Duffin Cove Oceanfront Lodging

We recently stayed at Duffin Cove Hotel and had an incredible experience. The location is unbeatable—tucked away at the end of the road with stunning oceanfront views and just a short walk to downtown Tofino. The room was clean, cozy, and well-appointed with modern touches, and I especially loved having a private deck to relax and soak in the views. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made check-in smooth and welcoming. I really appreciated the peaceful atmosphere—it felt like a quiet retreat surrounded by nature. Whether you're out exploring the beaches or just looking for a tranquil place to unwind, Duffin Cove is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend this gem for anyone visiting Tofino!

Not all the rooms face the ocean. Block 3 does but we we in block 2 which faces trees. So the descriptions in my opinion are a bit misleading . I think the "million dollar view from every room" is what you need to get block 3. Maybe the hotel could add "hundred dollar view" to the description for block 2 for folk like me not expert in the fine details. The price is about the same for both block 2 and 3.

It was our second stay in the premium King room at Duffin as a couple. The positives: the view from our cabin was amazing. The bed was comfortable. The room was quiet, modern, cozy, and pretty clean (except for some mildew in the shower corners). It was super easy to walk to everywhere in downtown Tofino from the hotel. Staff were friendly and check in/out was super fast. Lots of parking at the hotel was available. The value for money was pretty good. The negatives: the shower can get the floor/bath mat pretty wet as there isn't really a door, and the wifi was very spotty (which I didn't remember it being last year). Despite that, we would stay here again:) Thanks to Duffin for the great stays!

This hotel is ideally situated right on a small cove so you have wonderful ocean views. Another big plus is it is only a couple of minutes walk to town and the front with lots of great restaurants. Tha room themselves are very clean and modern with plenty of parking on a clean gravel parking lot, Would definitely recommend this place if staying in Tofino and will definitely use them again if we return.

Great spot. Very clean and well located.

My girlfriend and I found this place by accident back in 2021 and have been coming back every year at least once if not twice. This place just gets it. Every room has impeccable beachfront views that give you burning sunsets in the evening and relaxing ocean sounds to wake up to. You can make an espresso and sit in bed and just watch the world go by. Very cozy. The bathrooms are magical and feel like a spa. The location is everything, close to town but far from the noise of downtown crowds. I tell everyone about this place. We were even gifted a bottle of Prosecco and a card for my girls birthday, which was very kind and unexpected of them. We will be back!!

The bed was very comfortable and our view was spectacular. Access to our room in building 3 was somewhat difficult as you had to go down two flights of stairs and then up a flight of stairs. Very clean and quiet environment. If the top runway could be extended accross the gap between the buildings and avoiding the stairs it would make for the ideal location!
