Duffin Cove Oceanfront Lodging

Amazing views. Close to town. Nothing bad to say.

We enjoyed a three night stay at this property. Although small, the room was lovely, clean and had a view that was hard to beat. It’s unfortunate there wasn’t air conditioning. Opening the balcony door helped however there wasn’t a screen to keep the bugs out. A desk fan was requested and provided. The easy walk into Tofino was convenient. Lacking was the offer of a full service hotel. There is someone in the lobby/office from 10-6 with a number to call for emergencies. There isn’t an ice machine but prior to six o’clock if you call the desk they’ll bring a bucket of ice - otherwise you have to go down the street to a store where a bag of ice is given to guests of the hotel. Extra coffee pods are available in the lobby. There is not daily housekeeping unless your stay is longer than three days or you arrange it. This isn’t a budget property so it was surprising that some basics were not provided without asking.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Duffin Cove. The lodge’s location is unbeatable—right on the oceanfront with stunning views, and just a short, pleasant walk to the charming town. It was the perfect blend of peaceful seclusion and convenient access to local shops, restaurants, and attractions. The lodge itself is beautifully maintained. The room offered breathtaking views of the ocean. Waking up to the sound of the waves and watching the sunset from the balcony were highlights of my stay. Whether you’re looking to relax by the sea or explore Tofino, I highly recommend this lodge for anyone seeking a serene and scenic getaway with the convenience of town just steps away.

Good place.....no ice though

Beautiful location. Amazing views, great staff and amazing bathroom. A must stay if your in Tofino.

The rooms have a great view. The location allows you to walk everywhere in Tofino town easily. Bed was very comfortable & it was very quiet. The lodge has a very relaxed feel, the room is not serviced every day unless requested, which we prefer. Car park is available outside. Would definitely return if ever in Tofino again.

Our family stayed in the cabins at Duffin Cove. The cabin, albeit cosy, was big enough for our family (2 adults and 2 teenage children). It had a small kitchen which was handy. We enjoyed the stunning water view from our patio. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Location is just awesome, front ocean view on an island and sunset. Bedding is perfect and you will enjoy your Nespresso facing the ocean every morning. Bedding is very comfortable and you will also enjoy a small fridge. All Tofino is walking distance and your car parked free and safely

Beautiful views and very comfortable rooms. Could use a better common area outside for people who want to bbq and eat outside.
