Lots of stairs but view and room was worth it. Close to amenities. Staff was excellent! So many things to do in Tofino. Tonquin, Cox Bay and Chesterman were amazing beaches. Shopping and restaurants did not disappoint. Weather was cool in morning but warmed up in afternoon.

The room was very nice, but for the high price, small touches were missing such as USB charging for phones, and no EV charging. There was no cleaning service between the nights we stayed. Overall it was very nice, and with a bit more attention to detail, would justify the high price.

Costs more but worth it if you want privacy and a view.

I loved the big window and the view! Nice balcony too. The inside was bright and roomy, the shower is amazing! The only thing we could have used was a chest of drawers. We stayed for 3 nights and a suitcase gets messy. Walking distance to town was great. We only used the car to leave town. I would definitely recommend Duffin Cove to anyone wanting to visit Tofino.

Lovely staff, great room, pet friendly. Very accessible to town. Less than 5 min walk to Co Op supermarket, shops and restaurants. But still very quiet. Check in was very efficient and friendly. Would stay here again.

We stayed in one of the A-frame cabins which were clean, comfortable and well appointed. Our kids loved the loft. Tide pools were right outside the door at low tide. Great location in town walking distance to shops and restaurants.

We enjoyed our stay at Duffin Cove. The view and location was wonderful. The rooms were just a bit small and there was nowhere at the lodge to get together to see our friends (like a common area or outdoor fire pits). Would’ve been nice to have daily housekeeping service. The beds were extremely soft, and the pillows weren’t the best. It was a beautiful property though 😊

It’s a beautiful property with wonderful views. But it’s also very hands off, staff wise. Checking in was hard because the front desk girl didn’t come to the front desk for about 10 minutes. Then (with her air pods in) claimed she was busy doing laundry, and that’s why she didn’t hear us call for someone. We even tried phoning the hotel twice to see if that would coax someone to come out, and it didn’t. So that was frustrating. There’s also no restaurant or kitchenette, so you have to find somewhere in town to go for breakfast. Also, one gripe with the room was the bathroom sink was huge, but there was no counter space. So nowhere to put your toiletries or makeup or anything. Beautiful, but not functional is how I’d describe this hotel. For the prices they charge, I’d expect a more luxury experience.
