Cool hostel, well located, comfy beds, nice kitchen. Staff was kind and helpful. The bathroom cleanliness could be better, but it was acceptable. Wifi worked very well. Nice welcome drink with wine and cheese. Huge lockers and private litghs and ower sockets. very useful. Would definetely stay there again.

The hostel is in a really great location and the beds are super comfortable, and it has a pretty good breakfast with pancakes! I didn’t think this hostel was very clean, as the bins in the toilets were always overflowing, the shower had chewing gum in (which I stood on!) and the floor had been freshly varnished which nobody mentioned, meaning I got brown varnish over my bag and clothes. Some of the staff were not that friendly, for example not offering a map or making recommendations which is a small thing but can go a long way with people travelling on their own in a new city.

Stayed here for 3 night split over a week in early October. The location was great and the staff were super helpful. We went down to Valparaiso for a couple of nights and the staff let us leave our big bags in luggage storage which was super helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Super nice staff is caring about you and will help you out with every concern. All guests I met were adorably sweet and relaxed and I just had a good time there. On my first evening I was invited to a free vine meeting and there are more participation possibilities which are organized by volunteers. Don’t miss it if you’re a chilled and open minded person! And don’t trust the german ratings here, I’m german too and some fellows are kind of grumpy and stuffy and expect a mainson for low prices :) it’s absolutely ok how it is!

This hostel is perfectly located in the centre of Santiago with bars, restaurants, metro and shops really nearby. The hostel itself is clean with a great breakfast and good communal areas. The staff are friendly and helpful and speak good English. Rooms are spacious with large lockers to store your bags. Hot showers!!! Would reccomend a stay here for your visit to Santiago!

It's a clean place, calm and the people are efficient, helpful and respectful. You have the all comfort to put your stuff and space (the beds aren't encroached upon each other). It's really close to nice street to have a drink and stuff. The breakfast is free and good too.

+VERY nice hostel! Clean sheets and kitchen, very nice breakfast and friendly staff, I didn’t expect a high quality hostel and I was very pleased from my 2 night stay there. Plus I arrived at 6 in the morning to the hostel, and they were there to open for me and let me use the kitchen, and other facilities before check-in at 12, which I much appreciated. *The only 2 things that might need improvement is that the water wasn’t that hot(not cold either), and if you stay at the room next to the lobby, there’s music from the receptionist starting at 7:30 am...

I was travelling on my own. So wanted to be staying central. Santiago backpacker was perfect. Easy walk to lots of thing. Staff were great. Friendly and helpful. The dorms were great. Huge rooms. Airport shuttle can be arranged. I could not recommend it more. Suits all age groups

We were given a small room with a bunkbed. Seemed to have previously been some storage closet, adjacent to backyard where the washing machines were making noise. Floor was dirty. Window was very small, high and could not open. No place to put bag/clothes other than small stool. Perhaps better if you have a room in the main building or a dorm. Breakfast is included but very basic, have to wash your own plates. Did have big shared kitchen and nice tv room. They organise activities, but activities' board was not updated when we were there. Had to pay to print bus tickets and had to pay deposit for the key (did get it after returning the key), never had this before.
