Hotel Casa Azul

Honesty the best hotel in Merida, in my opinion. The serenity, luxury/decor, and staff was second to none. I needed a few things done with clothing and other special arrangements and without hesitation it was done with the professionalism of a 5 star hotel that I have come to expect. I will be back again and again.

El estilo de la propiedad y el Servicio está muy bien , felicidades . Lastima que no tenia gente, Las almohadas muy chiquitas y no cómodas, no hay suficiente black out y entra luz en la manana, El Internet se puede mejorar, el jacuzzi se vacía solo,

Amazing in every details! A home far from home!

From the time we began communicating, Mr Cortez provided service and information well above and beyond ever expected. He was very informative and guided us on several sites and activities to look into prior to arrival. He even booked our rental car reservation with a company he highly recommended, Yucatan Vacations which was an amazing experience and will review later. We arrived the hotel, and were greeted by Mr. Cortez and the staff, escorted to our beautiful accommodation. The attention to detail with the decor, everyone and everything we encountered was impeccable. Our room so superbly clean and inviting and the bed was so amazing and comfortable it was hard to get up. When we did, however, we were greeted and served the most amazing breakfasts that were so delicious. The service continued to be outstanding. At night our turn down service included delicious chocolates and beautiful inspirational cards we read to each other before retiring for the evening. This was the beginning and the highlight of our 24 night stay in the Yucatan and look so forward to returning in the future. The service continued after our departure when Mr. Cortez contacted us to inform us that the housekeeper had found 2 souvenir shirts and chocolates we purchased from The Choco-Story. He actually offered to send to the US, having said that, we were in the Riviera Maya at that time and he made arrangements to send our belongings with Luis from Yucatan Vacations Car Rental so they were delivered when Luis picked up our car from the hotel! Super attention to detail from ALL! Thank you so very much for all your services especially to Mr. Cortez, Raul and David (who were always so pleasant and accommodating) , Mario (who watched for our return every night), Stephie (who made sure our room was spotless), and Elena, the wonderful chef that created such wonderful breakfasts! Thank you to ALL staff (I hope I did not leave anyone out), everyone and everything was AMAZING!

Muy lindo hotel.

El concepto del hospedaje y sus instalaciones son fantásticas, disfruté mucho de la hospitalidad de su personal y de la ubicación del mismo. Solamente propondría que en el caso de los baños se incluyera un sistema de extracción para evitar que los olores del excusado se transfieran al resto de la habitación

El hotel por dentro está muy agradable, PERO, para empezar es muy engañosas las fotos que ponen, da la impresión de estar en una mucho mejor calle, NO tienen un area donde uno pueda llegar con las maletas, la calle tiene muchísimo trafico y cuando el auto se paró frente al hotel para bajar las maletas, todos los coches nos tocaban el claxon y nos decían de groserías MUY desagradable. El hotel debería de advertidos esto a sus clientes! AL estar en una calle con tanto trafico, los cuartos son DEMASIADO ruidosos, tuvimos que ir a comprar unos tapasen para los oídos, porque la primer noche fue IMPOSIBLE de dormir. El precio del hotel es EXAGERADO para lo que ofrece. Será Monumento Histórico pero no es cómodo como hotel.

Our stay was perfect. The hotel is full of beautiful features and the staff were beyond friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are visiting Merida. The pool and grounds are especially wonderful

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The rooms are spacious and elegant. The villa style courtyard area is comfortable and beautifully decorated for the holidays. We were impressed with the level of service. The staff is very attentive, friendly an able. The food delicious served at our schedule convenience. Great location within walking distance of sites and restaurants. A memorable experience and a definite repeat in the near future.

I have never felt more at home away from home! The staff were so kind and obliging, nothing was a problem. The rooms were immaculate and the food extremely reasonable, tastey and fresh. The staff helped celebrate my 50th birthday with lovely surprises and a delicious cake. A time I will never forget. Truely a great stay!
