Me encantó el hotel, nos quedamos en una habitación junto a la alberca que tenía todos los detalles y amenidades. Muebles coloniales, un baño muy grande con tina, pétalos de rosa y sales de baño. Muhoa detalles románticos. La comida deliciosa y el personal muy amable. Bien ubicado y muy bien mantenido. Ampliamente recomendable!

NO PUEDE SER UN HOTEL UNA CASA DE HUESPEDES. LAS HABITACIONES SON HERMOSAS PERO NO TE OFRECE NADA COMO HOTEL; NO TIENE UN ÁREA DE RESTAURANTE CON AIRE ACONDICIONADO EN MÉRIDA QUE ESTÁ A 34 GRADOS A LAS 10 A.M. Y UN JARDÍN EN DONDE TE COMEN LOS MOSCOS SOLO DE HACER CHECK INN. HAY DOS CAMASTROS Y DOS SILLAS EN LA ALBERCA ???? QUÉ DEPRESÍON !! TE PONEN UNA FOTO DE PISCINA ENGAÑOSA PORQUE LA MAGNIFICAN. NO TIENE UNA PEQUELA PAREA DE BAR CON AIRE OTRA VEZ ?!! LA TELE EL TAMAÑO ES RIDÍCULO. NO TE DEJAN VER DONDE ESTACIONAN TU COCHE. "Tranquil and elegant "

This boutique hotel was perfect for our short stay in Merida. The service was spectacular and the room very elegant with high contrast. It was close to the “centro histórico” but taking a taxi is recommended for the summer months as the daytime temperatures can get to over 100 degrees. If you are looking for peace and quiet this hotel is for you, and, they make a spectacular breakfast which was included.

Everything was great at the hotel. Rooms were large, of colonial style, and had awesome air conditioning, which is essential in May in that area. The staff are all very sweet and sincere. Didn't know it in the beginning, but there is a room service menu that is very good for the afternoon and evening. The location is great - near the center of the city, very close to some great restaurants, the main avenue and a lot of museums. You probably won't need it, but there is even an emergency clinic about 400 yards north on the same street (nice to know in case). Also about 400 yards north on Calle 60 is the Paseo 60 plaza with some awesome restaurants. Try Viva Teya and Crabster. Casa Azul does everything right and is a one of a kind hotel that is very enjoyable.

"Perfect for a quiet getaway"

On our first night at Casa Azul, we lost our cell phone in the taxi from the airport. It really threw a wet towel on our upcoming trip but the staff at Casa Azul were amazing. They were able to call the airport taxi service and actually get our phone back from the driver! Then they served us a great dinner of papazule and goat cheese empanadas. For three days they took excellent care of us and there were plenty of times it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves, which was perfect for the quiet birthday weekend we were looking for.
