Cleanliness, the staff , the room, the location

Staff were super helpful and very kind. The room we stayed in was lovely and very clean.

The meal we had was ok, but service was a little slow. However we weren't in a rush so it wasn't a problem for us.

I have always stayed at this excellent hotel during my visits back home to Yorkshire, (God's Own County). The grounds and spa are excellent, and the staff is always courteous and professional

Poor - measly portions. 1 of five things incl 1 mushroom on full bfast. Was hungrier afterwards !

Just about everything. Room was noisy. Prices were inflated uncomfortably for everything. And access to pool /spa was charged at £40 p.p. for 2h at w/end. Nonsense. Staff/service variable. Needed better management and a vastly improved pricing structure. Shame as a beautiful location and spa/gym/pool looked nice.

Great location… including a 40min walk around a very picturesque lake. They were super dog friendly, which helped us a lot.

Lovely hotel with stunning views from the spa and restaurant. Staff were great. Lots of amenities. Nice walks on the estate, especially around the lake. We had a room with outside patio area, which we were lucky enough to be able to access early.

The room was a little tired, and could have benefited from a lick of paint. It was also very expensive, and use of the pool would have cost an extra £80.00 per couple.
