Knights Inn Litchfield

We stay at this hotel once a year for a business trip and have always liked it.

Absolute dump… only stayed because it was only place left, will plan ahead earlier next time.. gross

To be honest I didn't end up staying here at Knight's Inn. I rented the room and soon as I walked in the bathroom there was a lot of fresh mold and a wet ceiling tile in the bathroom and the whole room including the bathroom ang sleeping area smelled musty and moldy. It was the last room they had so they couldn't off me another room. So the manager canceled the reservation for me and I went and found another hotel

The staff was nice. The room smelled musty. I got some air freshener from the front desk which helped a little. I turned off the AC and opened the window which helped more until someone decided to stand right outside and smoke so I had to close it. The exit door right outside our room did not lock so any one could come in and out. Even with the window closed I could hear people talking outside during the night. Walls were scuffed badly, one chair was really stained up, the bed was ok-ish but the pillows were totally flat. We slept and got the heck out.

There are no breakfast services at the hotel due to state restrictions, their diningroom is too small to meet COVID requirements. However, there are restaurants on either side of the hotel, so breakfast was only a 2 minute walk away. Their diningroom is quaint and comfortable. I purchased my breakfast next door and came back to the hotel to eat it in the cozy diningroom.

At this time the hot tub is under repair. Management reported that they are trying to repair it, but it has taken time. The pool on the other hand it heated, warm and nicely maintained.

Our room was absolutely disgusting. There were crumbs in our beds, under the beds were filthy, band aid wrappers, a bottle of foam sanitizer under the bed, one of the beds didn't have sheets on them.

They said, they were upgrading. Our room was not very clean, improper bed sheets used, mattress liner was hard and stiff, nothing in the room except for the ice bucket!!! The hot tub was out of order and that was the reason We booked this hotel!!!☹️
