Hotel Stadt München

Stayed for 4 nights over the New Year. Rooms very pleasant and clean and staff very friendly and accommodating. Would return. 15 min walking distance to old town and bars. Whilst could get a coffee from the bar area at any time of day or night. I would recommend tea and coffee facilities in the rooms

Small but clean hotel in a good location for sight seeing. Downside, was that they had no tea or coffee making facilities in the room and the walls are very thin, so you can hear everything from the next rooms. On saying all this, I would stay here again if it was for a short break.

We booked the Hotel Stadt München for a weekend getaway, since it is close to Düsseldorf Altstadt and Königsallee, was reasonably priced, and offered a power outlet for an electric vehicle. Very friendly staff checked us in and explained me the way to the parking spots with power outlet - located in the basement with a VERY steep decline. There were 3 Tesla Superchargers (I wonder, whether a Model S gets down without scratching the front spoiler), and one standard outlet. I plugged in our vehicle, but did not pay attention whether it charges or not. The next morning I realised that the outlet had not worked..... Maybe that was, because the hotel was in the process of being upgraded. So, there were a few more flaws, but nevertheless, the hotel was VERY clean and quiet, we heard barely anything at night, neither from the streets nor from other hotel guests. The bed was comfy, the bathroom modern and large enough. The picture on the tv looked like half SD resolution, and the tablet in our room that was meant to provide information of the area and the hotel was dead. Breakfast was great, staff very friendly and helpful, the price was OK. Overall, we would stay there again.

We really cannot fault any aspect of this hotel we would recomend this hotel to anyone who are heading to dusseldorf

It's a 3-star standard. Room and bathroom are tiny, staff speaks little English, telephone not working, elevator in bad conditions. Location is central.

The location is walking distance from train station but the area is not the best The room was large and clean but with renovated bathroom

Wifi disconneted so often even though we requested to repair.

Good rooms comfy beds very clean and good facilities The breakfast is excellent but at 14 euros a head it should be you can get a breakfast close by for 5 or 6 euros Staff very helpful and nice reception area but some of the staff can't operate the bar and we were unable to get a drink atonight 11 at night. Sat tv English news good WiFi and about 10 mins to the start of the main shopping street Lots of restaurants closely and 5 mins to central train station .
