Hotel Königshof Hamburg

The location is very bad. I would not recommend you stay here. The room is ugly and feels old, the dryer and tv did not work. The staff wanted us to leave the key at reception, if we left the room...

Leuk personeel, schone kamer, maar wel wat klein. Goed ontbijt.

Das Hotel war wirklich eine reine Enttäuschung. Das Zimmer war wirklich winzig, man konnte die Tür gerade so öffnen und man fiel quasi direkt ins Bett. Platz für den Koffer gab es nicht. Das es ein Gemeinschaftsbad war, wusste ich, aber dass sich das gesamte Stockwerk 2 Bäder mit Toilette (nicht getrennt sondern eine Dusche und eine Toilette pro Raum) war mir nicht bewusst. Die Bäder waren schmutzig und wirklich jedesmal, wenn ich die Toilette benutzen wollte, gab es kein Toilettenpapier. Das Hotel befindet sich in einer sehr zwielichtigen Gegend.

The room was not bad though a little bit small. It was close to the central station so it was not quiet at night. The breakfast buffet didn't offer eggs. :(

The room was very small. Bathroom sink was so small every time you wash your face water splashes everywhere. The hotel was close to the station but in seedy area. Our room didn’t look like the one we booked. We didn’t go out at night. The breakfast was good and very reasonable. House keeping was good. Wifi was good, too.

**Women travelling alone** Do not use this hotel!! I felt so uncomfortable throughout my whole stay. The area surrounding the hotel didn’t seem very safe and I made sure to be back in my room before dark. I was stared at, comments were made and made to feel disrespected even by the hotel staff. It would be fine for a guy to stay here but women..please be careful if you are staying here.

Convenient to main station. A little hesitant to go out at night, but felt comfortable and safe with 24 hour reception. No lift available and the room was a little stuffy with heat, perhaps even a fan would be beneficial to circulate the air.

Very small rooms, no amenities in the room. The description of the rooms does not correspond with reality...

It was not a hotel but a camp or a homeless shaltter. The room was at the hotel entrance and 3 steps away from the reception desk. It was noisy and very felt unsafe. There are also people living in 4-5 in room. It was smelling take away food out of the room next door. It should not say 3 stars hotel !!
