Hotel Königshof Hamburg

Hotel is in a short walking distance from the bus station and railway station. Clean, plenty towels given. Helpful staff on reception. Plenty eastern restaurants around. We enjoyed our meal in syrian restaurant just down the corner.

Hotel room was much smaller than publicity indicated. We knew it was a room with shared bathroom, but it was not big enough for a double bed with two people and bags; we could barely move. I believe this was a case of misrepresentation. Also, the hotel was in a very seedy location and often had drunks sitting on the entrance steps. Very substandard and I will not use hotels.com or Expedia again.

Friendly and helpful staff, really nice rooms for what you are paying. 500m from the main train station so you can get anywhere in the city. Brilliant couple of bars in the main square at the top of the road. Was a great experience

The location is alright, even though the street it's in is a bit creepy. Quite close to train station though. Very soft bed, very small room. Clean though.

Hotel room size and condition are as overall good close to train station just a shame it’s off a dirty side street in a rough looking area and with no lift

I ordered a room with private bathrrom. when I arrived they said the only available room is with shared bathroom, and offered no other solution, including refund. It took us a long time until they finally agreed to take us to another hotel. We wasted a lot of time and energy there. is was totally unprofessional and not acceptable, and I am awaiting response from Expedia about this event.
