Residence Inn Dallas DFW Airport South/Irving

Great staff

My stay at the hotel was exceptional. The front desk staff was super friendly and accommodating. The hotel was clean including the dining areas for breakfast. The hotel has an indoor pool, fitness center, and outdoor basketball court. The hotel is currently being remodeled but there was minimal noise. I would definitely stay again.

REVIEW: RESIDENCE INN We stayed here for a stop-over. Unfortunately, we ended up at the wrong Four Points on the North side. We called for the free shuttle from the airport and didn’t realize that we called the wrong Residence Inn. They say 1st impressions are everything. We arrived at the North Side and the front desk could not find us in the system and that’s when we realized the issue. They told us they could not take us to the Residence South side because it was past the miles they could travel. So guess what? We had to take a uber to the South side. Btw, I’m glad we chose the South side. Anyway, in my opinion, that is bad customer service considering they are the same company, the 4 stars. Anyway, we arrived at the South side and they said the North side should’ve taken us. Hopefully, no one else makes this mistake. The front desk was an absolute breath of fresh air. Ruby was so warm and welcoming and check-in was smooth. Our room was upgraded from a one bedroom suite to a two bedroom/2 bathroom suite. It was very spacious which I loved. It is an older hotel and not very modern, but it was clean and worked for us for the night and we slept comfortably. For dinner, they recommended Aspen Creek grill and they give you 10% for staying at the hotel and the shuttle picks you up and drops you off. Raymond drove the shuttle and he was friendly and gave great information of Texas. Their breakfast is GREAT!! Good options and the kitchen staff were amazing. Overall a good stay!

Great location. Very clean. Breakfast was good and employees always restocking and cleaning. Love the waffles on the weekends. Lots of parking and having a shuttle if you don’t have a car. Employees always greet you when you pass by front desk.

The sofa bed we had was completely broken so the first night our son had to sleep on the floor. They did change out the entire sofa bed the next day. The condenser for the ac/heater is in the bedroom so every time it turned on or off it was very noisy. Also, the bathroom door should swing outwards. You have to go all the way to the tub and squeeze to shut the bathroom door. Maybe a pocket door would work better.

This was a quick overnight after a late flight to DFW. Check in was smooth and easy. Suite was clean and well appointed. Very close to the airport. I also noticed the people in front of me were checking in using airline provided vouchers, presumably for a cancelled/overbooked flight. If you are going through DFW and something happens where the airline is going to put you up for the night, tell them you want to stay at THIS hotel. Breakfast was much better than average. They had a great selection of hot and cold food. I especially enjoyed the chorizo and eggs. Never seen that before at a hotel breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. The area was kept neat and clean and the staff was friendly. The food and beverage manager asked if there was anything she could do for me which was a nice touch. Part of the reason I chose this hotel over others in the area was the proximity to the rental car area where I would pick up a car in the morning. The hotel was true to their word and brought me directly to the rental car center and not the actual airport which saved me lots of time. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

Room was dirty, too tired to take the time to complain, although i did mention it to housekeeping and she took the trash out for me. Pool is under maintenance.
