Please note that bookings for double bed or two twin beds in accommodations for one person may undergo changes at check-in upon availability, but will be granted priority as required by the guests. Please note that rooms with balcony are subject to availability. According to the Brazilian Federal Law 8.069/1990, minors under 18 years of age cannot check into hotels unless they are accompanied by their parents or a designated adult. If a minor is accompanied by an adult other than his parents, it is necessary to present a written authorization for the minor to check into the hotel. Such authorization must be notarized and signed by both parents, and presented along with notarized copies of their IDs. All minors under 18 years of age also need to present a valid ID with photo, to prove their identity and that of his/her parents. This must be presented even if a minor is accompanied by his/her parents. In the case of a minor accompanied by only one of the parents, it is necessary to present a notarized authorization signed by the absent parent, along with a notarized copy of that parent's ID. When booking more than 9 rooms, different policies and additional supplements may apply. This hotel has apartments under renovation from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday (except holidays). The location and the staff: superb. Also, the fact that the apt. Is spacious for one person and the kitchen is convenient. There are a few “buyer be aware” though. See below.

1- The billing and the reimbursement systems, especially in the case of changes in the reservation and cancellations, as the property lists prices in the local currency (Brazilian Real.) There was an error on the start date of my 27-nights reservation made in March for the month of June. Within minutes of making such reservation, I cancelled it and made a new one for 26 nights. My credit card was immediately billed IN FULL for both reservations 3 months in advance. It took a full month for Atlantica/Transamerica to refund my payment for the cancelled reservation. By then, the exchange rate Brazilian Real/USD had changed and I lost $100. Recommendation: do not pay in advance for your reservation if you feel that you may need to cancel or change it. 2- The communication system with management - it can only be done through text messaging.- is not “service friendly.” You can not speak to any one to accelerate refunds. I wasted tons of time trying to solve the problem through Booking.com and the hotel personnel. I was not able to recoup my losses due to fluctuations of the exchange rate and the excessive time it took for the hotel to process the refund.

Apartamento legal, não é muito moderno, mas confortavel e adequado para nossa viagem. Com dois quartos, sendo um suite. Cafe da manhã todos os dias com as mesmas opções. Equope muito atenciosa.
