PRC Annex - Pet Friendly

The bed was comfortable. Check in was great and our room was ready when we arrived. Front desk staff was fantastic.

Kitchen was very small and not well stocked. No ice in the building. No amenities in building. No covered parking. Needed to walk outside to a different building to access the pool. If you do not bring towels from your room they will not provide towels in the building the pool is located - they will make you walk back or go without. This all should have been more clearly identified at the time of booking.

We booked this property through Booking.com specifically for two beds, yet upon arrival there was only one, which did not match the listing. Accessing the property is unnecessarily complicated—more like solving a puzzle than checking into a hotel. Guests are provided with maps and three to four different access codes for various doors and facilities. For a stay costing $300+ per night, this level of friction is frustrating. Frankly, at this price point, one might as well stay at Basecamp, which is truly day and night compared to Annex (Sunset/paradise resort not the same as Grande Rockies). The list of rules and fees is excessive: $50 if the dishwasher isn’t run before departure 5pm check-in and 10am check out, 42$ for late check out. (No hotel has that timeframe, very strange) $500 damage deposit refund after 7 business days (excuse me!!!). The feebreeze smell in the condo is excessive and the heat is extremely high even the thermostat is off, hence not working. Numerous other instructions that make it feel as though guests are expected to clean, strip beds, and run laundry for the staff Overall, the instructions seem designed to facilitate operations, not enhance the guest experience. Finally, access to the pool and hot tub is far from pleasant. Guests must walk through a dark, narrow alley aka the little corner accessing the Rockies pool, where there is only one changing room. This results in long waits, congestion, and an overall poor experience. Disappointing stay, especially given the price and expectations set by the listing.

Location was fantastic. View of the mountains was beautiful. Bedrooms were comfortable.

Noisy hot water heating. Low water pressure in kitchen sink. And tvs were very difficult to use. Should be smart tvs with Netflix or other streaming options.
