PRC Annex - Pet Friendly

We stay in apartment 402, (the fourth floor is the top floor). A two bed apartment with two bathrooms and combined lounge/diner/kitchen which has a high v-shaped ceiling The dining table had 6 seats but could probably seat 8 people if also using the 2 seater leather storage "trunk". The living room had a pull down Murphy bed which is disguised as a wardrobe when not in use, and was more comfortable than a sofa bed would be. Both showers were excellent. Didn't try the spa bath in the master bedroom's bathroom area. Dishwasher was a welcome bonus. We made good use of the washing machine and tumble dryer. Nice to be able to sit in the balcony and enjoy the cool evening air. The air-conditioning inside the main living room area worked well. I believe swimming pool facilities are included within a nearby block but we didn't use them. About a 12 minute walk to the Rose & Crown following the main highway (could figure out a short cut), we recommend it, serves great pub style food. The quaint town centre is probably a 25 minute walk.

The blinds in the bedrooms only cover the lower half of the windows, so the light of dawn will probably wake you especially if you sleep on the Murphy bed as there is nothing at all in the living room to prevent light coming in.

Great location! Easily walkable to grocery stores, etc. A couple items needed to be replaced and the housekeeping staff was great and quick. Good value for the price in an area where lodging is very expensive.

Only one full bath and one half bath in the 2 bedroom unit. Two full baths would have been very helpful.

The property has all the amenities we need and was clean. The staffs are friendly and accommodating.

Too pricey.

Furniture is very dated and there was a dented door. No Air condition unit in bedroom.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Air conditioning worked well.

BBQ was in rough shape and the check in/ check out times were absolutely ridiculous. Check in at 5pm to only check out at 10am for $600. Never again.

The pool/slide was a hit with the kids. Staff was fantastic and great to answer any questions we had and help us with anything we needed

One of the rooms had a strong smoking smell, my assumption from the previous tenants scent that lingered.

Spacious apartment with all the facilities you would need for self-catering.

The room was very poor value for money. There was a fishy smell every time we returned to the apartment (due to a food outlet close by) and the proximity to the train line meant we barely slept while staying here. There was parking but in small spaces and it was pot luck whether you actually found a space in the allocated area. The apartment desperately needs updating and although there was WiFi in the room, we could only access it by sitting on a dining chair close to the door. We can't recommend this as a good place to stay, we left exhausted after four nights with very little sleep.

Comfy beds, complete kitchen utensils, pots pans, towels clean . Big refrigerator. Location perfect.

When requested for a high chair we had to walk outside the bldg and pick up at the front desk. Our unit is the Annex bldg. About 300 steps back n forth 4x trip coz the first time there was no person at the desk ,2nd attempt was succesful. Wish there is a help frm the staff especially if by myself with a toddler. Aircon is not enough for a 2 bedroom unit the temp was a bit warm. It would have been ok if we can open the window but apparently the window handle is loose in the master's bedroom. Good thing it's not summer yet, there's still a breeze going in frm the other windows. The room has a sushi smell upon entry.
