The Island House Hotel a Doubletree by Hilton

We loved everything!!! BOOK this hotel for your vacation. I know this is an odd like but I notice little things and touches. They had this wonderful smell piped through their hallways and the lotion and soap in the hotel was divine!! It's so pretty there even down to their landscaping. LOVE LOVE LOVE

The room was a bit small for the price, but my family loved the beds and how comfortable they were. I need something a bit more firm. Staff was amazing though

10 dollars for a bowl of cereal is a bit much

There was no coffee available other than in room; not good quality.

Used restaurant for lunch and happy hour. Enjoyed offerings at both.

The parking was awesome. Beachfront property with a restaurant was a winner for the family. The view was nice with our balcony.

Some of the staff was not as attentive as I would have liked. Some front staff were not courteous or welcoming. Maid staff was awesome and prompt to our needs.

Our experience at the resort fell short of expectations. We had reserved the top floor Penthouse corner unit, but upon arrival, we were informed that our room was ready and directed to room 1004, which was not the corner suite as booked. Additionally, the blinds in the room were malfunctioning and would not lift. When we inquired about the issue, the staff claimed that management had changed due to suite renovations. I had to wait in room 1004 for 25 minutes for maintenance to arrive. The room was small, with broken power shades, making it feel cramped. I decided to walk the hall and found the maid cleaning the corner suite. I asked her if the suites were being renovated, and she replied that they were not, merely being cleaned. I took a picture of the room being cleaned and sent it to Hilton's email address. Within five minutes, we were given the corner suite we had originally booked, which was not even the unit the maid was cleaning, indicating that all suites were available with no renovations underway. The suite was beautiful, but the experience was marred by the staff's dishonesty. We were charged for a corner suite but were initially given a smaller room, which is unacceptable. I am disappointed with the resort's staff and their questionable practices. If any room needed renovation, it was the room they initially assigned us, 1004, with the broken blinds. This trip was particularly significant for my friend, who had experienced a challenging year, and for the staff to treat her in such a manner was disappointing. I have attempted to contact Hilton, but they continue to redirect me to the resort, where I am met with further dishonesty.

Beautiful hotel with views of The Gulf in every room. Our room had views from both sides which were stunning. Large comfortable beds and a heated pool to sunbathe around. Easy short walk to the beach with fine white sand. A perfect 5 night break after Southern road trip.

Not the hotels fault, but be prepared to Uber to bars and restaurants as no pathways to walk along. Had to wait a while for lifts as one was out of order.

L’emplacement, les installations. Le jeune homme du Check-in , très poli, serviable et à l’écoute., très pro. Prenez l’hôtel Embassy suites à Tuscaloosa.

Le manque de qualité pour un quatre étoiles. Le manque de qualité des choses fournies dans la chambre. Le petit déjeuner qui est juste une blague pour un quatre étoiles. La jeune femme du Check out qui était désinvolte, qui a fait semblant de rien comprendre ce qui m’a obligé à faire ma réunion avec mon employeur en France dans mon truck.
