Adara Hotel Richmond

The place is located close to the city with trams running nearby. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance. Comfortable accommodation but a little tired with the need for some refurbing.

My only issue was with parking - website says "Self parking available" but only after I booked was I told that the parking was fully booked out. Finding alternative parking was disruptive and inconvenient. Staff tried to help but their information was incorrect.

Unlikely to stay again.

We recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately had a mixed experience. Upon check-in, the front desk staff member seemed new and mistakenly gave us the key to a room that was already occupied, with personal belongings still inside. While we understand mistakes happen, it was a bit unsettling. When the manager returned from break, she didn’t acknowledge the issue with any empathy and seemed rather dismissive. We hope this was an isolated incident, as the hotel itself is otherwise well-located and comfortable.

Shower was dirty , was interrupted by a knock at door at 9.30 asking what time we are leaving

Property is old and needs updating urgently.

Was given key to room with someone already in there , was sent to some room down below with air conditioning not working on hot day went to reception the next morning to tell girl behind counter who looked up at me with a disinterested look on her face , asked her if somebody could get it going , she said she would give the manager a ring , i told her i will wait there unrill he turns up, she told me sorry but he is not answering the phone, she never offered to come and come and have a look herself , i asked her to which see did and got it going straight away , will never be stopping there again.

There was no internet, advertised as free but needed a log in

Great location with loads of cafes and bars. Pretty basic hotel but it was quite in the room & pretty good value.

Great location for walking to the Australian Open and Botanical Gardens. Unfortunately, the wi-fi was out my entire stay.
