Crowne Plaza Pune City Centre by IHG

Breakfast was solidly average. Lots of items - most of them were more miss than hit. The only thing consistently good was the masala omelette/tea. There was a generally unpleasant odor in the 5th floor close to our rooms. Looks like one of the areas was an interim dumping ground for the cleaning staff. A/C kept making some kind of noise, disturbing sleep. The location is great, and the staff is in general helpful. Would chose a different property the next time I am in Pune.

Location

Property is not worth the money and should not be in the category of 5 star for sure. Rooms need cleanliness and too much filth seen in the room. Hygiene is big concern and dirty marks on the walls, loose fitting of washroom, torn blinds in washroom, green muck. Most disgusting was the oil mark on the back of bed, which was clearly visible. Staff is too slow to respond and too busy to cater to guest either reception, room service or even the security officer at the gate.

The property has significant dampness issues and does not meet hygiene standards. There is a noticeable odor, and the quality of bath and hand towels is below expectations.Additionally, the food quality is quite disappointing.
