The hotel is rather tired and is basic but the staff friendly and helpful.
Room was clean and comfortable. Meal in the restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was all you could eat and it was also very good
Good clean room. Tea/coffee making facilities. Show hot and strong. Very good breakfast
Staff very friendly. Mattress was thin and not very comfortable. Constant hum from refrigeration unit outside window. Shower temperature was not adjustable (unless put onto Eco setting so nearly cold and water dribbling) - boiling hot to the point of scalding!! Breakfast was self service and adequate. Be careful when driving through into the courtyard car park - very tight!

We were pleasantly surprised after reading some reviews. We stopped here on the way back from Cornwall to break up our journey. We had a meal in the evening that was very nice, the only thing was we were the only people in the resuarant. The breakfast the next morning was very good, but could have been warmer.
The room was basic - no wardrobe or mirror, but clean. I went out for dinner and when I came back my room smelt of cooking fat/oil. The smell for progressively worse throughout the evening. I opened the window to get rid of the smell only to listen to drunks arguing and shouting for 2 hours. The smell started again in the morning and was so strong I couldn't face food and I left before I had breakfast. Everything I took into the room needed washing when I got home to get rid of there cooking fat/oil smell. It was a late notice booking and I would definitely not stay there again.
A very comfortable and pleasant stay. Great value. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Simple pub accomodation.Small but quiet and pleasant room. Everything worked.Lots of hot water and towels you would only expect at an expensive hotel. We had supper there and enjoyed it very much.Would certainly recommend it.
