"Overnight stay en-route to the north of England"

10.0

This is a lovely well kept country pub with three guest rooms. Our room was spotlessly clean and charmingly decorated with a well designed bathroom. The restaurant/bar was full of atmosphere and the food great after a long day. The owner is friendly and hospitable. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are in the Peak District

"Brilliant stay"

Fabulous place to stay for a walking holiday. Walk all day and come back to a marvellous meal in the pub and a well stocked bar. What more could you want ?

"A wonderful stay!"

10.0

We loved our stay here. The Bulls Head is located in the smallest and most picturesque of English villages. Parking is plentiful and the town is so peaceful, simply lovely. The pub has a lot of character and charm. The proprietors were friendly, breakfast and evening meal were both outstanding. We loved the owner's 3 dogs underfoot--the two yorkies were so cute. The room was comfortable, tastefully decorated and the bathroom was modern and huge. We definitely would stay here again.

"Superb village pub in a beautiful Peak District lo"

10.0

We stayed at the Bull's Head to visit Chatsworth Horse Trials. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We have a dog and the bar and B&B were totally dog friendly. Will definitely be back.

"Nice hotel convenient for places of interes"

8.0

The hotel accommodation was very good, clean and spacious room and good food. My only criticism was the folk singer who performed in the bar below our room. Although he sang well we felt that an 11pm finish rather than midnight would have been preferable particularly as breakfast was at 8.30 prompt with no flexibility!!

"Fantastic stay - we will be back!"

10.0

Everything about our stay was brilliant. We were looked after by Jonathan who was really helpful and pointed out local points of interest and good places to eat. Our dog Ellie was made to feel equally welcome and thoroughly enjoyed her visit to the Peaks. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending the Bulls Head Inn and will most certainly be back! Thank you!

"Wonderful village pub in great walking country"

10.0

Stayed here for one night in room 2 which is well proportioned with a great bed and with a fabulous new shower room. Loads of toiletries and robes with a peaceful feel in the room. The pub is the hub of the village and always busy. We ate in the restaurant which was really great, good sized portions and a good choice. The breakfast was lovely with a choice of cold and cooked. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back again.
