The Bulls Head was recommended by a local resident of 84, (Eyam not Foolow) as an excellent "Real pub" with good food and ale, served by friendly staff. ... just like pubs use to be. I'm very pleased to say after our two night stay we are pleased to can say "he was correct "and we did enjoy or stay ....especially the impromptu , vey good guitar playing and vocals from Andy along with a small group of friendly locals on the Friday evening. (21 00hrs is a good time to be in the bar on a Friday). Excellent walking base for the "white peaks area"....

Great value for money for 3 pals ona a night away visiting Chatsworth. Spacious room for 3, excellent bathroom, all obviously refurbed recently. Smashing breakfast and a landlord with a sense of humour thrown in! Left a fitbit and really helpful organising return. Recommended.

Very friendly and accommodating staff made us feel immediately at home. We had a delicious meal for dinner and tasty breakfasts each morning. Well located within the Peak District close to everything. We would certainly stay here again.

The Bull's head was a friendly place to stay with a nice atmosphere in the evening. However our room(the bathroom was fine) & the pub itself is past it's sell buy date - it's needs refreshing in the pub area & the bedrooms. Have stayed in many hotels in this price range & I'm sorry to say this was not as good as most - needs an overhaul.
