The New Alexandra Hotel

The location was about it the pictures on the site do not look like the hotel

It was dirty only 1 staff member covering reception and bar so took 20 minutes before some one checked us in the room had cobwebs and then toilet had not been cleaned as there was toilet roll in the toilet not flushed and a bottle top with sharp edges on the floor and I had my dog which could of cut into his paws when booking this was not told about a £50 deposit untill after booking and then say only small dogs this should of been put before booking very poor

The staff were lovely after getting us in at short notice after we fled from Garden Fat 1 which was a horror house The room was lovely and clean and spacious The breakfast was very nice Very close for all activities and sea front

The stair we were in a top floor room no lift but would stay again and ask for a room on a lower floor Again extremely grateful we got a room at such short notice after getting my granddaughters away from that horror house which was Garden flat 1, They even advised to contact booking.com about the previous accommodation in regard to a refund but that is easier said than done booking.com

Spacious family room, most beds comfortable, great location, friendly staff

There's plenty of room for another bed instead of the bunk bed which was super squeaky. Also, the water from the shower was either boiling hot or cold unfortunately.

The bedroom was nice clean and comfortable for us. No toilet rolls in the bathroom. Had to ask twice. We had two tea bags. There should have been more.

The entrance was nothing to be desired. There were two large bags of potatoes at the bottom of the stairs and at the front entrance. The bar area was very old looking and the front entrance was not very welcoming. The check in office was very unkempt but the gentleman who checked us in was very helpful and polite.

Was checked in by Melissa who was exceptional! she was kept busy also serving at the bar, the two cleaning staff i encountered were also wonderful, nothing was too much trouble for anyone!

Too many flights of stairs, and because it's an old building noise from upper rooms was a bit of a nuisance
