Convenient for Assembly Rooms Comfortable bed ,restaurant facilities.

Freezing cold small room and bathroom. Heating very erratic … none during the afternoon or evening but scorching hot at night. The radiator so close to the bed that one could easily burn oneself on it when getting out of bed at night. It is a safety hazard. Electric heater provided only took the chill off the room after a couple of hours. No heat in the bathroom but the heated towel rail was working overnight. Shower too feeble flow and erratic temperature to use late afternoon and bathroom still freezing cold. Stair carpets are filthy.

Friendly staff and food was lovely

The room was on the street side and was noisy especially early morning when the beer delivery arrived but we still enjoyed our stay

The staff were really friendly and very helpfull. The room was small but spotlessly clean, we only used it to sleep in so was great for our needs. Right in the center of melbourne.

The electric shower was terrible. It was either freezing cold or scalding hot. Glad i only wanted a quick freshen up

Always a good stay. Lovely hotel and helpful staff. Even though the pub is busy and noisy. You don't hear any of that in the hotel section. Complimentary drink "voucher" on arrival was a nice touch.

The radiator wasn't working at it's proper heat and at 75, I like to be reasonably warm during the winter months. A member of staff did try a manual heater. But unfortunately it wasn't working. Little disappointing. So... I gave the hair dryer a quick blast when I got back in from my evening out. Worked it for few minutes before going to bed. Needs that extra spare heater for winter nights.

Staff were very nice. Food and Restaurant was very good

Room was under a renovation project Strong sickly paint smell. Woken at 8 by workmen, banging, hammering, steps being dragged up and down stairs. Bailed out, went home Had breakfast elsewhere

There were cobwebs in each corner of the room. You could only get BBC channels on smart TV, couldn’t sign into any apps. Only 2 coffee sachets and one sugar sachet, tea bags ok. The kettle lead just reached the socket, but left the kettle right on the edge of dressing table. No room to have case open, only on Bed. The doors to all rooms in the premises were not soft closing and banged shut each time anyone used them. Hence very noisy. Room was expensive and did not include Breakfast.

The room was great with all we needed
