If you like a home from home then Barnard House is it. Jill and Andrew are wonderful hosts, happy give recommendations and help on the area. Our room was beautiful and light, and the bed was comfy. It was great to also see hot chocolate on the tray in the room, don't get that in many hotels. There was plenty of choice for breakfast, which was freshly cooked in the morning.

Good breakfast with plenty of options. We chose mixed berries with yogurt to start and the FullEnglish was excellent. Parking on the road outside was easy and free. Jill and Andrew are welcoming hosts. Barnard House is situated in a suburb about 30 minutes walk from the centre and there are frequent buses down the Prom. Our room had a modern bathroom with a shower. complimentary tea, coffee, milk.

We found the bed very uncomfortable. The slightest movement caused considerable noise from the springs or base or mattress - we couldn't quite work out which, may have been all three.

Spacious room, comfy bed, clean shower room, fantastic hosts, easy free parking incredible breakfast. And close enough to walk to the sea.

The breakfasts were excellent, with various (tasty) options. The location was fine… although we spent little time in Great Yarmouth & explored further afield. Having the car, the location wasn’t that important.

I don’t think that there was anything we disliked.
