Really looking forward to staying here after reading the good reviews. Room we had was quite tired and in need of decoration. Bathroom was really tiny. No storage space but we were only there for one night. Breakfast was okay but not much variety. Did not like being in a seperate dining room. Bed was clean and comfortable. If I ever stayed here again I would request it was not in that room so that we at least had a proper bathroom. Unfortunately could not request a move as property was sold out

Everything nice and clean, lovely breakfast, good location(pub in village does v. filling food), plenty of free parking, wifi good. Bus through the village if you're thinking of an end to end walk, which we did (doesn't run in winter). Would be happy to go back

room needed a lick of paint,shower room was smallest I’ve ever seen,I am far from a hotel snob I don’t stay in 5* but I just don’t think this place was worth the money I paid £75 a night and wasn’t worth it at all Couldn’t use the toilet comfortably at all,I’m only 10 stone so I don’t know how anyone larger would get on,shower cramped,had no shampoo in shower room which it said it had so I didn’t bring mine I just think for what I got it wasn’t value for money walls very thin also,we were in room on top of kitchen so first thing in morning could hear all conversations and microwave dinging constantly as well breakfast was also cold Bed and pillows comfy and nice area but that was all
Self-check in was seamless and the instructions were very clear. The family were very attentive during breakfast times. Great location if you have your own car to explore the north lakes and hiking trails. The room doesn’t get serviced and you don’t get clean mugs for tea etc but there’s a supply of tea and coffee outside at the reception for self-service, which is great. Pub nearby for dinner and the Marina is within a short walking distance. The breakfast time is 8-9, and although that is a bit late for early activities, the family were superbly accommodating and provided us with breakfast at 07.45am so we can leave on time and go to the via ferrata. Really pleased with the service. Thank you for a pleasant stay.
Everything was as described. Easy to follow instructions for checking in and ordering breakfast. Lovely that all the family are involved with very polite youngsters helping in the breakfast room. Breakfast choice was great and just what we needed for a day on the hills.
