"A nice budget place to stay over, not so great"

6.0

The place has some decent components as an apartment, but the space is a little bit narrow. The root patio is not very clean but the view is great.

"Good quality/price"

8.0

Given the price I paid for four nights ($US 65 a night), the quality of the room was great. There was even an micro-wave in the room and internet was free at the reception. Staff was very helpful.

"Budget Friendly Hotel"

8.0

Very helpful staff, good location for the price. Easy to take the sherut to the beach and catch the light rail to the Ba'hai gardens. Also, a short 15 minute walk to the German Colony. The only negative thing was that the walls are thin so we were kept awake by the neighbors t.v.

We were moved to the garden rooms as our tap was flooding the bathroom floor. Thank goodness the tap leaked as the room was practically on the street and the noise was unbearable. The new room was great, except the TV kept shutting down and we got fed up of asking reception to retune it. It had a kitchenette, with kettle, fridge and microwave and a table and a couple of chairs. All in all, it was a good stay.

"Nice Hotel - staff disappeared after first day"

8.0

The hotel is the best bang for buck in town: very large rooms with some kitchen appliances and a comfortable bed. The staff at the front desk are very helpfull but the ones who clean the room just disappeared after our first day. After all, I would stay there again.

"Clean and good value, but rooms are small"

8.0

The Loui is in an older building (I think 1933) that has been spruced up but not really renovated. Decor is fanciful which adds character. Our room was small and clean. Beds were okay, and the appliances I used (microwave, refrigerator, room heater, water heater) all worked. No problems with the wireless internet. There was only one chair in the room, but another chair would have made the room even more crowded. We also had a small balcony that looked out on the street. The shower was of the infuriating sort still found in Israel, with only a curtain separating the bathroom floor and shower floor, so after a shower the bathroom floor is wet. The staff were very friendly and helped us out with several things. The location on HeHalutz Street is commercial and looks a bit run down, but seemed safe and is only three blocks to the Carmelit subway. Even though this was a business street, we weren't bothered by street noise. I'd actually give this hotel a 3.5 star rating if I could, but I rounded up because my only gripe was the size of the room. I guess if I wanted a bigger room, I could have paid more elsewhere.

It was brilliant. You need earplugs as it's locate near a main roundabout. You are in walking distance of all the amenities in Tiberias.

"A quality hotel in Haifa with very helpful staff."

10.0

The room was comfortable and the price was great. What my wife and I really appreciated about this hotel was the staff. They were extremely helpful and offered suggestions on what to do and how to get there using public transportation.
