Breakfast was fantastic

We were on NY night in Sante And there was nothing special There was no music or any entertainment The dinner was too early It was strange Because the hotel is small, you don’t see any people

Ein Wellness Hotel, dass wir bei jedem Südafrika Urlaub zum Stressabau für die 1. Woche buchen. Wir schätzen die sehr gesunde Ernährung und nutzen verschiedene Anwendungen.

Leider sind die Zimmer und die Einrichtungen etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Es würde ihnen eine komplette Überarbeitung gut zu Gesicht stehen. Funktionen wie Toilettenspülung, Föhn funktionieren nicht immer. Stromanschlüsse nicht für Europäer geeignet.

Endroit magnifique et un service des plus pros . Personnel tres gentil et dispo ! Les installations sont superbes et tres propres.

Literally nothing

In my opinion, my experience with this retreat was extremely disappointing and far below what I would expect from a property presenting itself as a high-end or luxury retreat.

This was one of the most disappointing and unprofessional hotel experiences I have had. I contacted the hotel before my arrival to request a date change. No one answered the phone, despite repeated attempts. When I followed up by email, I only received a response on the actual day of arrival, conveniently claiming that the request was now “too last minute.” This feels deliberate and dishonest. Booking.com advised me to call the hotel directly — which was impossible because no one ever picked up the phone. Only afterward did I receive a templated, overly polite response that completely ignored the facts and the hotel’s responsibility. The communication style is misleading and manipulative: lots of empty courtesy phrases, zero accountability, zero willingness to resolve the situation. The tone suggests care and understanding, but the actions show the exact opposite. For a hotel that claims to be 5-star, this behavior is unacceptable. It felt more like a strategy to enforce cancellation fees than a genuine hospitality business. Special mention: the handling by Duty Manager Venantheo Petersen was very shady and untrustworthy. Polite wording on the surface, but clearly avoiding responsibility and providing no real solution. I strongly advise travelers to stay away unless you are willing to lose your money if anything goes wrong. There are far more honest and professional places to stay in South Africa.
